Miz Sasha Fierce has made history at the recent 2010 Grammy awards held at the staples center in los angeles, cal. Beyonce bagged 6 grammys including Song of the year for Single ladies...put a ring on it, making her the first female artist to ever win 6 trophies in a single night being way ahead from competitions, lady gaga, katy perry and taylor swift. The pop sensation was all smiles while accepting her awards in a Giorgio Armani Privé chain metal silver and gold mini-dress who also wore a black leather cut-out Versace dress for her night's performance. Beyonce's awards include Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for “Halo,” Best Female R&B Performance for “Single Ladies,” Best Traditional R&B Performance for “At Last,” Best R&B Song for “Single Ladies” and Best Contemporary R&B Album for I Am… Sasha Fierce.

taylor swift claims former-alanis throne

Taylor Swift showed everyone what she's really made of at the 2010 grammys where she won the key award of the night, the Album of the year for her sophomore album, fearless. the 20-year old country singer is the youngest to ever win the award which previously belonged to Alanis Morrisette who was 21 when she won for jagged little pill album. taylor said at her acceptance speech:

“This is my first time walking up those stairs to accept a Grammy on national television,” I just keep thinking back to like when you’re in second grade and you sing at your talent show for the first time. People joke around and they say, ‘Oh maybe we’ll see you at the Grammys someday.’ But that seems like an impossible dream, And I just feel like I’m standing here accepting an impossible dream right now and I just thank you so much for that.”

taylor also took home another two trophies for her smash single white horse as best female country vocal performance and best country song.

but is she worth the prestigious award? just a thought.

The pop icon arrived at the event's venue in her black convertible rolls-royce garbed in a futuristic silver ensemble by Giorgio Armani. From the arrival to the live performance with Elton John, Gaga was consistent of looking out of this world who doesn't seem to care how uncomfortable those clothes are. although she only won two Grammys for the night for Dance Recording- Poker face and Electronic/ Dance Album- The Fame , the bad romance singer was still unforgettable in a night reigned by miz Sasha fierce a.k.a. Beyonce who brought home 6 trophies.

before anything else, the HAIR is MAJER! they're like a pair of cotton candy puffs put together with a rosette-ribbon in the middle. The clothes are so feminine, candy-ish and very delicate-looking, something that you imagine only barbie would wear.

overall, the clothes are.....cute and delectable.

AVATAR finally sunk Titanic!

and the expected happened. James Cameron's technologically advanced sci-fi movie Avatar has finally beaten his other movie Titanic in the top-grossing-film-of-all-time spot. The movie has passed the $1.292 billion mark this weekend in its overseas haul making it the new top-grossing movie of all time!

Titanic which stars leonardo and kate stayed in the top spot for an impressive 13 years, with an international box-office record of $1.242 billion (or roughly $50 million less than Avatar's current cume.) although Titanic still holds the domestic title with $600.8 million to Avatar's current domestic gross of $551.7 , people behind the masterpiece are still hopeful that the movie would also steal Titanic's other record.

but i think the difference in gross isn't really that big of a deal considering that movie tickets were a lot cheaper back then and these days there are iMax theaters in which ticket prices are way double compared to the regular ones... dont cha think???

the much anticipated addition to Apple's line of touch-screen products, has failed most people that has been dying to see it. Steve Jobs of Apple unveiled their very own 9.7-inch tablet called the iPad that can browse the internet(in full page), store pictures & music and play movies. more or less touch-enabled laptop, sans the keyboard. iPad comes in 16 gb, 32GB, 64 gb storage capacity and a 10-hour batterylife. The gadget also has a new application called the ibook, a somewhat itunes of books wherein someone can purchase an ebook directly from the ipad and store it in so you can start reading it right away.

doesn't sound much interesting to us.

What really disappointed the techies of the world besides its "name" is that the iPad doesn't have a breathtaking new technology. its just like the iphone's interface but a lot bigger and minus the phone feature making it practically a bigger version of the iPod touch. by the way almost forgot to mention, the price tag is extremely MAJER! its at 16GB ($499), 32GB ($599), and 64GB ($699)! yes sweetie, their serious.

the end of Brangelina?

Is it really over for Hollywood's first couple, brad Pitt and Angelina jolie? Brangelina's absence from both SAG awards and the Golden Globes has created some specualtions that the two have split and that Jennifer Aniston is taking brad back. U.S. major tabloids claim that the couple have called it quits for some unclear reasons. But sources close to the couple including Angie's father denies rumors saying that the two are still together and their absence from the red carpet recently are their personal choice as the two are busy with Angelina filming her new movie "the tourist" co-starring johnny depp and brad has to look after the kids.

another source close to the couple confirms that the two are getting ready for the Oscars. the source says:
"Angelina and Brad are still very much together. They’re even in the process of planning out their Oscar outfits. Brad wanted to make sure he didn’t clash with Angelina, who’s putting some serious thought into her choices. They are still a couple.”

lets hope the rumors are totally baseless.

yes, i think this is somehow overdue and everybody's talking about it or they're done talking already but i just got this blog set up so im kind of delayed.

anyway, i just wanna say how bizarre and ridiculously fashionable these crazy Alexander Mcqueen "armadillo pumps" are. They're totally over the top and alien-like. Even those people believed to be the worlds best walkers and who are being paid to walk on runways wearing sky-high stilettos chickened out after they saw the shoes. Top models Abbey Lee Kershaw, Natasha Poly and Sasha Pivovarova quit the Mcqueen show out of fear, i guess. i mean, look at that! You could kill an adult cow or even King Kong with those heels, seriously.

But the shoes' shape has not stopped Lady gaga and london-socialite Daphne Guiness from wearing one.
